Energetic

Monday, January 19th, 2009

Your body has an energetic communication system that allows every cell to talk to every other cell and coordinate life. Modern science is continually confirming therapeutic interventions based on the accessing and moving of subtle energies in the human body.

SynerChi Systems’ mission is to promote and preserve our health, and therefore a challenge we face is to understand what ultimately produces and sustains life. Consider the following statements.

Universal Energy

The basis of everything in the universe is energy. All matter and every inanimate and animate object on our planet is an extract from the wave-particle matrix of energy that spans across galaxies into infinity. All matter is composed of energy condensed and slowed to lower vibrations and cosmic forces in the universe act to compress energy, creating molecules which further compress to form larger molecules. These molecules flow to earth and are the basis of all matter and material structure on earth, where fields precede form, and an energetic template lays the foundation for physical structure.

Are you tempted to dismiss these statements as “new age mumbo jumbo”? Before you do, realize that if you are in agreement you are in the company of astrophysicists, forensic scientists and quantum physicists who tell us that at the most basic level everything is energy, that matter really exists as probabilities and that the universe is a pulsating sea of energetic fields and frequencies. A constantly growing number of physicians also understand these concepts as a premise for the rapidly evolving field of Energy Medicine.

Physical Energy

There have already been many energies measured emanating from the human body including electrostatic, magnetic, electrical, electro-magnetic, sonic and thermal, among others. What we already know about various forms of energy as expressed in our bodies have given rise to powerful diagnostics and methods of treatment, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), electrocardiography (EKG) and electroencepholography (EEG) or brainwave mapping, and more recently Mass Spectrometry and Heart Rate Variability.

These technologies hint at even more exciting things yet to be discovered, and may provide a fundamental explanation for the principles underlying more ancient medical models. So the question may be reasonably asked, do we have enough evidence of energetic flow in the body to believe in chakras, meridians, and other subtle energies?

4 Element Integration

Energetically our bodies are equipped with a super-fast, fiber optic, communication highway, an ideal system for the transmission of energy and information, which allows each cell to talk to every other cell in our bodies and coordinate life. This energetic flow is dependent on normal structure, the organized crystalline array of body tissues being necessary to facilitate this system-wide transmission of energy and information. A disruption of the structural integrity in the body interferes with this flow, as do incoherent mental processes or “negative vibes,” which creates static in the body’s energy system. An imbalance in the chemistry in the body, particularly in the ratios of charged ionic particles, can also interrupt the energetic flow.

Mental

You can use your thoughts, feelings, emotions, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors, to achieve your greatest desires and design the lifestyle you deserve. Discover and breakthrough the self imposed limitations that are preventing you from being all you can be.

The mental aspect of health and wellness is vital and obviously important in a world where stress is linked to all the major diseases and killers of our day. Mental health must include addressing the programming that conditions and affects our thoughts, emotions, feelings, our attitudes and belief systems, and ultimately our behavior.

Conscious and Subconscious

Our consciousness gathers information through our senses, through forms and ideas, beliefs and judgments, and stores all of this subconsciously as background programs, running, by definition, below our conscious awareness. This subconscious is a non-discriminating, literal, accepting place and must be correctly programmed and coherently entrained to our own higher purpose. It’s very easy to install the wrong programs here, whether through lack of experience as a child or through lack of judgment as an adult.

Ninety-five percent of what we do results from this subconscious programming, and one of the greatest untapped resources on the planet is unfulfilled human potential, an immense force that we can utilize to achieve our greatest desires and design the lifestyle we deserve.

We can use our objective, logical, conscious mind to help sort through the contents of our subconscious, releasing destructive ideas and feelings and replacing them with proactive ideas and positive programming. There are five simple questions that we might ask in order to harness the power of our subconscious and integrate it seamlessly into our lives.

Emotions, Thoughts and Belief Systems

Limiting belief systems are a significant obstacle in realizing our full potential and may prevent us from “being all we can be.” Beyond the realm of the intellect, however, the emotional aspect of our lives provides us with color and quality, emotional will is what distinguishes us as human beings, and Emotional Intelligence has proven to be the factor that separates good executives from great executives and star performers in the business world.

The business and advertising worlds are showing us that there can no longer be in any doubt that emotions are important areas of our lives, and not simply by products of a logical and technical brain. Most of the PR, marketing and advertising that we are exposed to is aimed directly at our emotional centers, as business knows that as much as we think of ourselves as logical, rational beings, we respond to our deeper emotional drives and instincts.

4 Element Integration

Our mental processes are mediated through chemistry and expressed through our structure and energetic status. The study of body language is built around the understanding that it is the non verbal expression of our physical attitude and the silent expression of our feelings. The mental aspect of health and wellness can often override the influence of the other areas.

Chemical

Your external and internal environments should be non toxic and support your health and wellbeing. The air you breathe, the water you drink, the food, drugs and supplements you put into your body directly impacts your health, your mood and your performance.

The World of Chemical
From the mystical allure of alchemy centuries ago, to current feats of synthetic bioengineering, the world of chemistry has always enthralled us, tantalizing us with hopes of miraculous outcomes. In fact, many years ago we were promised ‘better living through chemistry.’

Chemical intervention is the predominant tool of conventional medicine today.
Our bodies demonstrate the amazing power and range of chemical activity, utilizing neuropeptides, neurotransmitters and hormones, for example, to carry information and energy in our systems, and to direct and implement many of our physiological processes. Even our thoughts and emotions are mediated through the activity of chemicals, causing us to experience abstract ideas as actual feelings.

Because so much of our physiology is mediated through chemistry it is very important to be aware of what chemical environments our bodies may be reacting with, whether in the form of drugs and nutrition taken internally, or synthetic, man-made chemicals we are exposed to externally. During the previous two centuries we learned how to make hundreds of thousands of synthetic chemicals to help us control both our internal and external environments. To manage weeds in our gardens we use herbicides, to manage depression in our brains we use Prozac.

However, these hundreds of thousands of man-made chemicals that have since been manufactured and released into our environment means that today we hear more stories about the devastating effects of toxicity and pollution on our environments rather than celebrating the better life we were promised.

Just a few years ago, a British journalist conducted a study on toxicity levels in the environment. She underwent testing at a biotechnology lab in London, and found that over 500 man-made chemicals were present in each and every cell in her fit and healthy 30 year old body. Recently a mother delivering her baby on a remote tropical island was amazed to find evidence of chemical pesticides, such as DDT, already present in her baby at birth.

4 Element Integration

Our physical, mental and emotional health is readily affected by chemistry and we must therefore monitor our environments carefully. To maintain and regenerate our structural components our bodies need to intake chemicals such as glucosamine and sulphur, for example. For mental health we need sufficient intake of amino acids to prevent depletion of serotonin and norepinephrine. Energetically molecular vibrations facilitate activity between the chemical and energetic systems of the body at the cellular level.

To take full advantage of the benefits of chemistry while avoiding its potential harms, we must become aware of our toxicity levels and learn now to detoxify safely (using modalities such as homotoxicology) to positively affect the chemical consistency in our bodies.

Structure

A pain free range of motion and a fully functional ‘neuro musculo skeletal’ system enhances your ability to move smoothly and efficiently through your life.

Structural
Our bodies must work without pain and our muscles and joints must move smoothly and effectively through their complete range of motion. When this is our life experience we use our energy efficiently and express ourselves fully.
Our physical structure is the equipment through which we express our spirit, the vehicle we possess to carry out our will, we must maintain it well.

You and your practitioners of Physical Medicine must understand your unique needs and requirements before designing the most effective exercise program, in accordance with your individual lifestyles. You must also understand that there are ‘agonist, antagonist and reactive’ muscles to be considered, and that many body-wide patterns of muscular compensation exist, before deciding on your preferred course of action.

To do this we must go beyond the idea of the skeleton as simply a static framework and understand the Tensegrity model of structural balance. We must extend our understanding beyond merely muscles and joints to encompass the Neuro Musculo Skeletal system, realising that posture and structure are largely determined and controlled subconsciously, and becoming aware of such concepts as Proprioception, Facilitation and Inhibition.

4 Element Integration

Through the Nervous System connections a direct link is established between posture and psychology, illustrating that mental processes exert an effect on physical structure. In fact, the word ‘attitude’ not only describes mood, but has a common root in language that also means ‘posture’. We communicate with each other not just through spoken language, but more directly through ‘body language’, a field of study that tells us that body language is the silent expression of our feelings, the nonverbal expression of our physical attitude. Body Language is responsible for most of our communication, and a quick survey of a person’s structural ‘attitude’ tells us if they have just heard good news or bad news.

Structure relates to energetic flow in the body. Every molecule in the universe has a structure, and that structure determines the properties of the molecule and the whole. Our muscles, tendons, bones, fascia etc. have a highly ordered structure, which conveys particular energetic properties to our bodies, allowing for the flow and passage of energy and information in a way similar to a semi conductor or liquid crystal creating within us a super fast fibre optic communication highway.

Our physical structure is supported and maintained through the proper addition of correct chemical components in our diet and supplementation. A compromise in structure leads to degeneration, dysfunction and ultimately disease.
